America Matters is focused on issues that matter to the American people..
“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” are the cornerstones of American society. For the American people, these principles are a source of pride as we continue to grow and develop as one nation. Building on the foundational values of the Constitution, America has led the way in promoting individual freedom and prosperity, and advancing the rights of ALL people.
There are many aspects of America and an American way of life that make it unique and are worth defending. America fosters diversity and inclusion, values hard work and dedication, and embraces change. As we move forward, these aspects of American life must continue to be the core of our society.
America is infused with ideas, vibrancy and life that make us the Shining City on a Hill as noted by both Presidents John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan. A place where all of us, regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation, can achieve our greatest dreams.
Upholding American values and an American way of life has always come at a price, as there are many who threaten our values and liberties. We must stand strong, and continue to make hard decisions and sacrifices, to ensure America remains the land of the free and the home of the brave.
America Matters champions American Values through legislation, policy, and advocacy. We work to advance the cause of freedom and individual liberty. Let’s be proud of our country and what we can accomplish together — because America Matters.

OUR ISSUESWhat Matters to Us

Security
Seeking safety and security for our families, our communities and ourselves is universal; and one of the most important aspects of our lives. America Matters believes thoughtful diplomacy coupled with effective national defense provides the best solution.
American Values
The Statue of Liberty says, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” This call comes with the requirement that to live here people must share our values by supporting the Constitution and laws of this country.
Service
Those who have served our country in uniform deserve the highest level of care and support once they return to civilian life. America Matters is dedicated to ensuring this through active engagement to provide policies and programs worthy of their sacrifices and service.
Education
Providing quality education is vital to the continued strength and prosperity of our country. It is essential that the next generations receive the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and we must ensure equal opportunities in education to allow them to do so.
