President Trump signed a law to permanently authorize the
9/11 Victims Compensation Fund saying, “We have an obligation, and it’s a sacred obligation, to the families and first responders of 9/11.”
He spoke of Chief John Joyce, former fire chief of the Midtown Manhattan firehouse, who lost 15 men in the attacks, and was diagnosed with cancer in 2011.
