From the Marine Corps to the Peace Corps and everyone in between, serving the greater good is honorable and a core American value. America Matters seeks to recognize those who dedicate themselves to the best interest of our country. All Americans share in the freedom and liberty paid for by those who have worn our country’s uniform. Now it’s our turn to take care of American veterans and their families. Likewise, first responders, and others who serve through charity and work in non-profits and service organizations, deserve our recognition as well.
America’s Veterans deserve our eternal gratitude for putting their lives on the line. American servicemen and women represent an amazing resource as many continue to provide a positive influence once they step out of uniform. The knowledge, skills, and exceptional work ethic developed throughout their careers make Veterans an asset to any organization they join.
Quality medical care is the least we owe them for their service and sacrifices. Veteran care and Veteran mental health are important American priorities. This has not been the case and that needs to change. America Matters will be part of the solution and so can you. We will support reforms that allow American Veterans to have healthcare that serves their needs. This includes supporting programs that deal with the ever-growing number of Veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) because invisible injuries matter, all injuries matter.
At home, police officers, fire fighters, and other first-responders protect America and its citizens each and every day.
America is a truly charitable country and there is a plethora of groups whose mission is to ensure that we use our wealth and prosperity to aid those who need our help. There is a place for a government safety net, but also a need to empower the good will and works of private citizens, religious groups, and non-profit organizations. Feeding the poor, sheltering the homeless, providing basic medical supplies, and above all offering a helping hand to raise people up are all things to be admired and supported. Service to others Matters and we want to recognize and help those who put the lives of their fellow citizens first.

American Values

Education
Providing quality education is vital to the continued strength and prosperity of our country. It is essential that the next generations receive the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and we must ensure equal opportunities in education to allow them to do so.
